It's a Movement

I guess it’s just going to come to going bankrupt before we really do something about the illegal immigration situation here in Florida as well as across the country. Last night, our local situation regarding the recent hiring of workers from The Mentoring Center was discussed on Talk Radio. Illegals are getting national attention. People are starting to wake up. Local governments and State governments are now saying, gee maybe we had better solve this problem before we go belly up.

Right now, children born in this country to illegal aliens are given automatic citizenship. This is about the most stupid principle imaginable. Who thought this one up? It's as stupid as allowing Cubans to stay here who reach our land illegally stemming from a political situation of 40 years ago. More and more of them are going through Mexico and walking across the border declaring they are Cubans. Why should any legitimacy be given to something derived from an illegal act? Didn’t the government recently take all of Bernie Madoff’s assets, gotten illegally by his pyramid scheme? Why, all of a sudden, should these illegal parents collect welfare for these children who were born here and the legal citizens pay through the nose?

Illegals also add to the cost of services; police, fire, healthcare, highway maintenance and public libraries, jails, you name it. Education is a huge cost as we have found out at Lake Worth High School, dragging our school down to a barely passing grade and the subsequent possibility of its closing because of it. We are subsidizing this in Lake Worth with the illegal Resource Center.

California now is thinking about cutting off welfare payments to children of illegals. It is a shame that the federal government has allowed this to get worse, And it is absolutely shameful that State government will only look at taking action when it realizes, finally, that it can no longer support its own citizens much less those who have crossed our borders illegally.

Russell Pearce, State Senator from Arizona, discussed our local situation and the recent hiring of workers from The Mentoring Center on “Connecting the Dots” radio show last night. This show is national. He was really livid. He has fought against illegal immigration as this crime is killing his State of Arizona and killing our country. Pearce said, “I believe in the rule of law … I've always believed in the rule of law. We're a nation of laws and I will not back off until we solve the problem of this illegal invasion. Invaders, that's what they are. Invaders on the American sovereignty and it can't be tolerated."

It’s a movement...a movement by citizens across the country...a movement by more elected officials to enforce our laws...about time.

I agree something must be done. We can't sit back and expect someone else to solve it. Demand that our local officials stop breaking federal law.

People are getting what they deserve. They are apathetic and lazy and just want government to take care of them. I am really sick of all of them. They don't get off their big butts and do anything. That's why the Caras will win in this world.
