Palm Beach County taking the right step

There was Ray, Jim, Tony, Warren and Mary. There was also Bill Boose, one of our former outside lawyers for the City of Lake Worth. These are the people who have the distinction of getting Palm Beach County on the map and what is now known as “Corruption County of America.” Actually, these are the guys who got caught. Corruption abounds. It is everywhere. It is still in Palm Beach County. It is right here in Lake Worth.

Palm Beach County now wants to form a watchdog unit that will keep its fangs right on the jaws of county administrators. They also want to form an Ethics Committee to listen to complaints and issue findings.

Can Lake Worth EVER get an Ethics policy or do we have so many other headaches we don’t need to worry about this anymore? All we ever seem to do is TALK about things and never get anything done. Why does anyone want to fight an ethics policy?
