The Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce had its 98th Annual installation of officers last night. Tom Ramiccio, President/CEO, invited Rene Varela and Scott Maxwell who were seated at Susan Stanton's table. Rene was introduced as the "next mayor of Lake Worth." The Chamber of Commerce denies that it is political. It is no wonder that the vast majority of citizens have a problem with its leadership.
And guess what...Dave Vespo is now on its Board.
According to its web site, Evening on the Avenues is suspended until further notice. This is one of its MAIN signature events.

This is why the Lantana Chamber laughs at our chamber.Is anyone in the lake Worth Chamber decent enough to be embarrassed by Tom Ramiccio? This Chamber really does need to chuck all pretence and apply to become the political pack, not Chamber of Commerce, that they are.
