Vuhrehluh's quote is the threat of a bully. So much for uniting the community.

Where the, perceived, Three stand together it represents consensus on policy, not some sort of lock step fealty offered in homage to ... to what? Overall these three duly elected individuals represent the most consistent, credible renewal of public confidence in our municipal self-governance in decades.

Moreover, Vuhrehluh's biggest obstacle to his strong mayor approach is likely to be the city manager not other members on the dais. His only hope for electoral confirmation in a second term is leadership on issues of responsible public administration, not a personality turf war where he represents the fetid special interests of a good ol' boys network that is still fresh in people's minds.

Vuhrehluh supporters need to quit blaming the current commission for the myriad sins of commissions past; that constitutes the most reprehensible of political artifice.

I wanted to overcome the 3-2 when it voted to destroy my single family neighbourhood for the profit of three greedy flippers:Ray Smith,Paul Kintz, and John Lang. THAT 3-2 said "screw you" to the people.Rene is in the MINORITY-just like all of the citizens of Lake Worth were when Nadine Burns,Retha Lowe, Mac Mckinnon,Bo Allen ,Rodney Romano,Tom Ramiccio, and Dave Vespo were part of the 3-2 majority. These losers tried to sell our public beach and parks, gave away our water, police and fire depts.and got us into terrible contracts for water and the Sheriff's services. The people this group put on boards like the CRA and P&Z wasted millions of dollars and let willy-nilly developments with no setbacks pop up anywhere they wanted to .THESE CORRUPT LOSERS are the ones responsible for the blight of Lake Worth!Sorry Rene, but I don't want that kind of majority again.
