We can control unbridled growth and development

Miami with 1,157.9 people per square mile

Don't get excited. This is Miami. Haven't we all been crowing that we don't want Miami and Fort Lauderdale in Lake Worth? I previously mentioned that we have a lot of people living in our little city--Lake Worth: 6,516 per square mile. This figure is from the 2000 census. Can you even imagine what it is now?

"Too many city and county commissions are too willing to blindly approve developer-backed changes to comp plans. After all, in Florida the business of land development is politics. Over the years, developers in this state have virtually taken control of the political process through the use of generous campaign contributions."
