Some of you are probably wondering how the timeline on our Casino rehab project is going. I asked Commissioner Mulvehill and this is what she relayed—
TIMELINE
January—
Responses to the Request For Qualifications due by January 28
February--
Review of basic qualifications by City Staff first week in February
Review of responses by Evaluation Committee, consisting of City Commissioners and Lake Worth residents in early February
Qualified firms to present conceptual designs in a public meeting
Evaluation Committee to select 3 finalists and commence contract negotiations with top ranked firms in late February
Issue Solicitation for Construction Manager at Risk firm in late February early March.
March--
Select Construction Manager at Risk Firm in March
August--
Construction Manger at Risk/Design Firm/City finalize rehabilitation design
September—
Initiate Construction
