"America is the land of opportunity, and I want that opportunity to be shared with everyone who plays by the rules and enters our country legally. But our federal government has failed to secure our borders and stop illegal immigration, and both my primary and general election opponents have said that the common-sense Arizona law is not one they'd like to see here.
When people violate the law in this country, they should be asked if they're here legally, and if they are not, then they should be deported. "
