Stability is the Platform for Blockson

The only trouble with this campaign slogan is that Ms. Blockson assumes that ending bad and costly Contracts with the City of Lake Worth is showing some sort of instability of our sitting Commission when in fact, it is just the opposite.

Just think. If we hadn't ended the PB County Water Contract we would be on the hook for $3.5 million dollars more than we are spending right now for our own Reverse Osmosis System to not be dependent on anyone.

Just think. If we hadn't ended the contract with Greater Bay, we would still be jerked around by them, a company that never was here to perform. We are now going forward with our beach restoration and rebuilding our Casino in order to attract millions of tourists to our Lake Worth beach. Does Ms. Blockson really think citizens would have started petitions and filed law suits in order to protect our beach from private control? Does she really think that we were all "unstable?" Even someone who gave her a campaign contribution filed suit against Greater Bay. Although Greater Bay is still trying to strong arm the City, just remember that anyone can file a law suit. It doesn't mean they have an argument that will hold up in court.

We have a responsible Commission that is leading us in the right direction. Stability is something we DO have right now.
