A Rick Scott Commission on Florida's Growth?

Jane Healey, Orlando Sentinel says, "Rather than trying to get rid of the land-planning agency (DCA), lawmakers ought to be expanding it. Remember, this agency was created because local governments couldn't be trusted to responsibly approve development all by themselves. Just take a look at some of the monstrosities approved for half a century, and you see why a check-and-balance was sorely needed.

Jane further states, "...how about a Scott Commission — with growth itself as the focus?"
