And on another note, I am totally against Beth Johnston of our Greater Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce being on any Task Force that involves the City of Lake Worth. Sleeping with the enemy can't be a good thing for Lake Worth.

As background, this fits into what we have learned about what St. Joe had in mind for Gulf and Bay counties-their having dredged a much deeper channel into Port St. Joe so cruise ships (read casino) could operate out of there plus use the airport and convert an existing/build a new casino(s) in Bay County-wouldn't surprise me a bit if they were to ultimately get a permit/license should this go through-likely part of their master plan PCC revealed years ago and that Billy Buzzard was heavily involved in.
