The Legislature released the proposed state budget on May 4. The Legislature’s final budget weighs in at 406 pages and $69.7 billion in spending. It eliminates nearly 4,500 state jobs. Florida has a total state debt of $31,840,545,002 when calculated by adding the total of outstanding debt, pension and OPEB UAAL’s, unemployment trust funds and the 2010 budget gap.
