An advertisement from a warm and fuzzy sounding Group

Comment Up

This is the sort of crap that reared its ugly head a few years ago with attack mailers. No one knows anything about this Group, Citizens For Lake Worth's Future... Another warm and fuzzy name.

Tom, we might not want to sell to FPL. FPL might not want to buy. Why do you say you will sell our Utility. You don't have the power to do that, Tom. We have already kept the PBSO. You will create jobs? This city commission has created jobs by developing our Casino.

I called the City Clerk's office and she never heard of it nor has it registered with her. Palm Beach County knows nothing and neither does the State of Florida. His own campaign manager says she has never heard of it. It appears it is just someone(s) circumventing the law. It's sort of like the anonymous poster who comes to this blog. We might never know who is behind this postcard.

Sid, don't tell me it is you!

Tom breaks the law-yet again. No surprise.Hey Tom,who sent this illegal flyer out? Your friends in the Republican club? I guess the law is for all us stupid Democrats!!!!!The Republicans, with SKELETAR at the Governors helm, are raping the state! Why not do the same locally?Tom Ramiccio don't need no stinking laws!

"a strong, steady man at the wheel"-hey Tom remember that time you ran away from a certain set of wheels?

You have entered a slippery slope when you broach the subject of selling the utility. Without its revenue, LW's chronic mismanagement will have you bankrupt in a matter of months. Then you will have to look toward incorporating with a larger town just to stay afloat and LW will be no more. Overall, that may be the best thing for a town that cannot seem to manage anything correctly.

Of course we can manage anything. We have the best commssion ever and the best city manager ever. Look at what they've accomplished recently:
Brought Publix to downtown- right, sorry that was the CRA
Brought the PBC cultural council to LW. right, sorry that was the CRA
Lowered utility rates- right, sorry they voted to increase water rates by 80% over the next 5 years in a city full of poor people.
Saved PBSO- right, sorry they were caught in the middle of a big lie about that one. Residents saved PBSO
Cleaned up the blight- right they haven't started on that one yet.
SAVED the casino building- what's that you say, check the factual blog the building has been demolished?
What have they done Lynn?

Well, they have done plenty. Just read my blog. As far as giving credit to the CRA for all of these things, many of us out here do NOT believe that they are so wonderful.

It is true, the the CRA has not cleaned up the blight. When will you ever complete your mission rather than pi**ing money away?

Publix downtown? What a great thing you did by giving a corporation worth over a billion, $500,000 of poor taxpayer money. Good show.

The Casino was saved by this commisison. The building is not demolished. Look up the word in the dictionary, something you CRA folks don't do.

Instead of being a constant 2nd stringer on the herd, listen and learn and take notice as to what this City HAS done to save you a bundle and to move forward.

Is the writer of the flyer a male chauvinist?

Why does it say "getting our men back to work."? What about women?

He also italicizes "steady man".

Is this taking a shot at women leaders?

I think it is. . .

Doesn't even come close to the Dorsey funded flyer during the Jeff Clemen's campaign for Mayor. Talk about attack flyers and lies. Ugg!!

Check with James McCauley who was President of Citizens Come First back in those days. He sent out some cartoon postcards that were sort of cute actually.
