Lisa Maxwell WRONG AGAIN - Day 14

Comment Up Lisa Maxwell does not know her facts and it has become a steady trend in her campaign...open mouth and insert foot. Lisa Maxwell's latest video talks about the trash that is in alley ways. She thinks that it is the Lake Worth Utility Department that keeps the alley ways clean. The only responsibility that the Utility company has is to trim the trees and brush to ensure that the utility lines and the alleys are free from obstructions. Vehicles must have ingress and egress. It does NOT clean up alley ways. The alleys, by Ordinance, are the responsibility of the owners whose property borders them. Alley ways are 10 feet wide and each property owner is responsible for 5 feet from his property line. If residents are dumping trash on the alley ways, it is up to the owner to cease and also advise their tenants of the law. They can call the City Public Works for a special pick-up to remove it. No property owner or resident should be dumping trash or bulk on the alley ways. Neighborhood Associations, from time to time, have alley way clean-ups, realizing that it is the property owners' responsibility to keep the alley ways clean, not the Utility Department as Maxwell believes. Public cleanliness is important to all of us. When you see trash in alley ways, call Code Enforcement. It works for me. Again, Lisa Maxwell is just flat wrong. It is at the point now that it is not Lisa saying these things by guessing at the facts but rather not taking the time to find out the facts. Do we really need someone like Lisa as Mayor of Lake Worth? A simple telephone call to our Code department, P&Z or even the Utility that she believes is responsible, would have set her straight. A call to her commissioner, Suzanne Mulvehill, would have given her the truth right away.
Have a cup of coffee, Lisa.
What our Code says: Sec. 12-31. - Responsibility for keeping areas free of garbage, trash, etc. The owners or agents, tenants or lessees of all property, whether improved or unimproved, shall be responsible for complying with the provisions of this section. The owners, agents, tenants or lessees shall be severally and jointly responsible for keeping the following areas free from garbage, trash and refuse at all times, exclusive of those periods immediately prior to collection as permitted in this article, said areas to include the entire premises as well as the yards, parkways or swale and one-half (½) of the alley right-of-way, one-half (½) of the street right-of-way and/or easement adjoining such property; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to the owners or agents if such owners or agents shall be able to and will point out to the delegated city authority any person who has caused the illegal condition and provided that such owner or agent or any other witness he may produce executes an affidavit to this effect and the affiant in such cases shall thus become the voluntary witness for the city in its proceedings against such person. (Ord. No. 83-28, § 1, 1-3-84; Ord. No. 99-10, § 1, 5-4-99)

Hear ye, hear ye...
Commissioner Mulvehill is the keeper of propriety and truth. That is foreclosure proceedings not considered.

Finally someone who sees the real truth about Lisa Maxwell! And neither is seduced by her performed confidence. Lynn is exactly right when she called Lisa on the carpet for trying to sell her version of truth and than when questioned will further put forth effort that she is correct or brush you off because your not worth her time. And again I was impressed when you brought up lisa's take on public personas versus privacy issues. I'm sure it goes without saying that that has always served Lisa well because she herself has a great deal to hide both personally and professionally. And that's not just speculation. Many have scrunched up their noses as they have watched those videos etc. Because besides the fact that she has blatantly and unapologetically botched up the actual data. She's saying things that she's never believed in! So you are one smart lady for seeing beyond her self created exterior. Well done!

This blog constantly finds negative reports about this person running for mayor. You may be correct about the facts Lisa got incorrect about parking fees, however did you check to see how much better off the city might be if the fees had been collected and why was only one business in the made to pay these fees? We need to look at the whole picture.

Well this blog constantly tells the truth. The big picture is, Lisa can't cut it. The other big picture is, you guys are screaming about eliminating parking impact fees--now you think they're swell. You can't have it both ways. The downtown merchants are always screaming about this, that, or the next thing. They believe that the city should drop over dead for their every whim and the taxpayers pick up the entire tab. The City allowed this to happen because the parking impact fees were too high even in a good economy for the type of business that we attracted and wanted to have. The City has never encouraged national chains. Even Starbucks was controversial. $7,500 is reasonable.
P.S. Don't bother coming over and telling me that I am negative. What I wrote about Maxwell happens to be factual. You disagree, your right. If you want to get stupid here, go to one of those blogs that encourages your attitude. And that IS the picture.

What truths are you talking about Lynn? You wouldn't know the truth if TRUTH was spelled out in big keys on your computer. You may hate Lisa and nit pick everything she says but for you to say someone that has had a long and successful career, doesn't matter if it's in developement or child developement, someone that has actually paid their bills and their mortgage, kept their promises to others "can't cut it", while you hold Mulvehill who has done none of the above up as the model of elected officials in Lake Worth is either the bigest lie in the city or a gross miscalculation.
I'll let you tell me which it is.

Your comment addresses the issue of your integrity. So, until you post under your real name, your ranting is meaningless to me and to everyone else. If you can't stand up for your convictions, then you are a coward and this is just cyber-attacking.
