I would like to hear what the Lake Worth mayoral candidates say about our Union retirement pension benefits and how they are draining our city dry.
On Lisa Maxwell's latest video, some resident on N. Lakeside by the name of Marty, talks about how he doesn't want things to revert to how they were in the past. NO one does. Marty wants to protect his investment. Who doesn't? Marty is so new here that he doesn't realize that it is this commission that is and has turned everything around. Lisa was not a part of those great decisions. She was, however, a part of some pretty bad ones while she was on the Planning & Zoning Board.
It was the past leaders who put this city in jeopardy with bad Union contracts and a bad Sheriff Contract and one who wanted to outsource all of our assets. It is this administration that is now negotiating with the Unions and we are gaining ground thanks to this city manager and this Commission.
Lisa, why don't you tell Marty and his wife the truth?
