Two Faces - Obama and Governor Rick Scott

Comment Up
Today I decided to have a brand new category to talk about--Hypocrisy

Two people are featured in this first blog--two face lying SOB's:

President Barack Obama
Attacking Governor Romney over and over again for being successful and wealthy as well as all the one percenters...then attending $40,000 per person fundraisers for his campaign. He just flew to New York on the taxpayer dime to attend a posh fundraiser that raised $2 million for his campaign given by celebrities (Stars) who want to rub shoulders with a President of the U.S.(Rock Star). Sickening.

Governor Rick Scott
Scott was elected Governor of Florida. One of his main campaign promises was: Get E-Verify implemented so that employers would have to check the legal immigration status of workers. Now he has made an exception to the agriculture business and said that he wouldn't support any effort to require use of the system in the upcoming year.

How many of those $40k per plate attendees were running against Obama?
If rich people want to donate money to his campaign is that Obama's fault too? Should he refuse the money?
You make absolutely no sense.
Google Lawrence O'Donnel breaking down Romney's jibberish speech.
You really want to vote for THAT guy?

To be perfectly honest here, it is anyone but OBAMA.

O'Donnell has made no bones about the fact he's a socialist and there may be plenty more on MSNBC. Don't give me him as a point of legitimacy.

Further on Gov Scott-
The Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Associated Industries of Florida, along with the state's agricultural industry, oppose both the House and Senate bills on E-Verify. I did not endorse your usual candidates last year as they both were making an exception to criminals on the agricultural issue.

Oh, I cannot stand Scott, he is the worst, yes, such a hypocrite and is really hurting our state, especially in the area of education, so much for the brain drain. At least Obama did stand up for gays some, that was one good thing. You are right though Lynn, politicians stink, they only say and do to appease people/groups, they never do what they say they will.

Great, if they are not going to enforce e-verify, then open up the borders and let them all come to work here, but make them pay taxes too, make it fair for the rest of us. Scott sucks!

I wonder if Pam and Andy will vote for assessments this year as they got elected for no assessments last year.

If they do not vote for assessments they are foolish, it is the only way we are going to keep this city afloat until things turn around

Lynn Anderson said...

Once a special assessment is implemented, you never get rid of it. Cities love them. It is an easy way to raise cash and continue to spend into oblivion.

Lynn, what would you cut???? Not anything at the beach, not the pool, not the shuffleboard courts. Limit the height to two stories,on Your blog you have defended all of these issues. Where does the money come from to run the city? And what do we have to raise taxes?

Lynn Anderson said...

I would delay capital projects for a starter.
As none of the back-up is available to the Budget proposals, I would have to wait and see.
We have a Utility Board looking to cut costs when we NEED the revenue.
As explained before, shuffleboard will bring in tournaments and that means people which means people spending $$$. Same with the pool.

It is a known fact that a low rise city is much more desirable and prosperous.

Lynn, when the shuffleboard courts were opened, and we had tournaments here, why did the people not spend money then??? Now are the going to Venus Cafe , is that going to be their hangout?
The downtown businesses never laid an eye on them....

First of all, this particular blog is about Obama and Rick Scott.

Next, as I said in the blog on the pool, not everything has to make money in LW. Shuffleboard is part of our history. Shuffleboarders will bring money to the city by just being here. Do you think they would come for a national tournament for 3 days and then stay, eat, etc. out of state? We are talking about expanding the way we think on this issue in order to give us an identity, to bring in tourists and money.

As far as the Venus Cafe goes, the only people going there are the COMMISSIONERS and the illegal aliens. The Commission voted that place a 2COP license so that they could sell to the neighborhood people. It is an inexpensive and quick way to get food. It is also take-out or you sit outdoors to eat. So, as far as the "hang-out" for shuffleboarders, I would say that your sarcasm is definitely inappropriate.

Well they can't stay in Lake Worth there are only 2 B&B's and the rest are nothing but hoore house's and locals for PWT. So I imagine they will spend money, and eat where ever they stay.
Was it not your friend Charles Ciel that kept the Gulfstream closed for years on end with appeals to the Best Commission Ever?

First of all, and to say it again, this blog is about Obama and Gov Scott. Is there something about that you just don't get? A first grader gets it but you are having lots of trouble.

Next, if you don't know what in hell you're talking about, will you refrain from posting here. Go to Wes' blog. He puts up with crap.

P.S. Charles Celi is not a friend of mine but I certainly do admire him for controlling heights at the Gulfstream Hotel. Thanks for reminding me of the corruption and the BS politics that were going on back when your best bud was on the P&Z.
