Lake Worth Code Enforcement Department

Comment Up
Someone posed the question yesterday on this blog, if the city is outsourcing the Code Department why then are they advertising for a code officer and a compliance manager?  During public commentary I asked what was going on in our code enforcement department and specifically, what happened to Raquel Diaz, our former compliance manager...no one answered me on Ms Diaz. The City Manager did state that they were outsourcing this department and that an RFP would be going out in a few weeks.  Are they or are they not privatizing this department? Is this simply a lack of communication from the city manager to the Human Resource Department or is something else going on?
