Rendering for ballfield at John Prince Park

Comment Up
A whisper away from residential homes

This is what Shelley Vana, Scott Maxwell, Pam Triolo, the rest of the Lake Worth commission, and Michael Bornstein want. The city even authorized paying two of our attorneys to sit at the meeting on April 18 to promote their point of view using taxpayer dollars to do it.

Our environment will be impacted big time. We will lose all of our wading and nesting birds as well as our quiet enjoyment all for a whim of Maxwell's for his dream of economic development. This commissioner has really sold his soul to the devil.

I am so happy that we are back in the running for baseball in JPP. I will be able to walk to the games. I may even be lucky enough to get some kind of employment.

there would have to be a major road reconstruction. Don't give lake Worth any bond money. It will disappear for road re-construction on 6th ave South if they can figure out a way. maybe they won't care about that either. What a nightmare this all will be. Stop it.

Right on, anonymous at 12:29. You can sell peanuts and crackerjacks unless an illegal alien gets the job first.

Good luck trying to run for re-election , Maxwell. Are you getting paid by the same people that are paying Mark (I got disgraced out of Congress ) Foley ? Why were you fired from Burger King ,Scott? Now Scott, where did those extra computers come from ?

Anonymous above. You could think of a job of being a city commissioner, one more loser in the pact of dummies and insufferable boobs. You would fit right in there and still make less than minimum wage.

Good luck to students trying to study at the college with a baseball stadium right up their asses !

A much better site plan!! This is something that can really work. I hope PBSC can use the stadium for their home games. This could help make their baseball program one of the best in the country.

Never have ever seen anyone on the baseball field at JPP, EVER.

Really Lynn we will lose our wading and nestling birds. Looks like a lot of water left for them. Beautiful rendering, I just cannot wait for batter up!

People totally into commerce are not into the environment. A ballpark somewhere else would be lovely, just not at JPP with 6,500 people screaming and spitting across the lake and driving on 6th Avenue South to get to I-95. :) What a joke.

anony at 10:28 you don't know anything about wading birds do you? Read up before you make such a dumb azz statement.

The jerk Mayor/architect used that same rendering for PALM BEACH GARDENS ! and just plopped it down in the lake Worth location !Bum !

2:00 I do not get your point. A ballfield is a ballfield and a car park is a car park. The rendering just shows what an easy fit this is.Lynn, pretty soon you will be buying a mitt to catch homers from your balcony. Feed the birds but save baseball!

Let's have baseball in PB county--just NOT at John Prince MEMORIAL Park.

Actually, Shelley Vana is just one vote and I would like to think that the rest of the commissioners might have some good sense.
