No doubt about it--we have a great volunteer group in Lake Worth that is always helping others.  This is another event next week and Mark Parrilla is hoping for your help.

Mark is the president of the Genesis Neighborhood Association who says, "It is an open invitation to anyone who would like to help. We will also invite the entire commission, our city manager, Commissioner Shelley Vanna, Commissioner Priscilla Taylor and our local media outlets as well. The Chaplain at Signature, Fr. Terence Belcher, has secured a contractor who will be donating his services and coming to the house to take measurements of all the soffit work that needs to be done before we paint. Home Depot is donating the wood.

Come on out on

Lynn,
Thanks for posting this announcement. Genesis is very excited about 2014 since it is the only neighborhood association in Lake Worth to have acquired a corporate sponsor that will realize four (4) community benefit events.

Hi JW, if you would like to see how "not functioning" Genesis is look out your window Tuesday morning April 22, 2014. Before then you will hear the hammering of a contractor acquired to do the soffit repairs of Mrs. Grant's home before we paint it. So much for claims not being followed through. Every goal that Genesis has set out to do since we incorporated in 2010, we have followed thru on successfully. Our track record speaks for itself. Annual reports to the Mayor and Commissioners with pictures as back up of our accomplishments are public record and speak for themselves. Come to next months May 20, 2014 Commission meeting to see the 2014 Genesis Neighborhood Association update to the Mayor and Commissioners. Instead of blowing so much hot air to your neighbors, come out and join us to help a neighbor, your neighbor. It will do you some good. You have lived in the neighborhood for much longer than I. Oh, by the way, do you need help with painting your home that Code Compliance gave you 15 day to paint? I will gladly ask Signature to schedule to do your house next since we have three more community benefits to do. God bless you.
