(THE NEWS SERVICE OF FLORIDA) A South Florida Democrat wants smokers to snuff out their cigarettes when kids are in the car.
Sen.
Jeff Clemens, D-Lake Worth, filed a bill (SB 548) Wednesday that would
prohibit people from smoking in vehicles when children under age 13 are
present.
The
bill, which will be considered during the legislative session that
starts March 3, would lead to smokers being cited for non-moving
violations if they don't comply.
Jeff loves marijuana and if that passes, every kid in Florida will be getting hold of it, medical or not. But an adult smoking in a car when a kid is around--no, no.

Because Jeffey is too addicted to the medical lobby's MONEY, he won't support Joey's Law that could save infant lives !!! COWARD CLEMENS !!!
I agree with this that adults or anyone should not smoke in the presence of children, second-hand smoke is very dangerous for youngsters. Ear infections, etc, very bad.
I wish that clemens and the elected would outlaw smoking in ALL bars in FL, people should not have to be subjected to second-hand smoke when they go out to a bar or club anywhere here. In NY, CA, and so many states and countries now, you cannot smoke in bars or public places, FL is way behind the times on this one. I hate smokers. They should be forced to stay away from any public place by more than 50 feet or so when smoking. Other people should never have to be subjected to in-taking the smoke of others, NO WHERE! I hate at our beach so many smoke there and you have to take it in when you walk by these smoky dumbos.
Out law all forms of smoking, that is what they should do, smokers never care, they don't care about themselves or others, they love to throw their cig. butts all over the ground and NEVER are responsible. Do you know that cigg. butts are the number one form of litter in our country.
Ban smoking altogether jeffy!
Being a reformed smoker-- off of it for 31 years, I HATE smoke...can't stand the smell of it and now don't understand why anyone would do it and try to cut their life short.
