Quote of the Day - Peggy Fisher

Comment Up
"We talked about respect...respect of this commission. I am appalled at images of commissioners in  KKK outfits being posted on social media--that is not showing any of you respect.  That is hateful, that is racist and I'm ashamed that a citizen of our city thinks that's appropriate. Um,  I won't say the name because you've asked us not to say names."

~ Peggy Fisher,  citizen extraordinaire

What it is, Ms. Fisher, is political satire. What you did was sleazy politics. Let's get the two straight.

Peggy is a tool for Maxwell and the gang. In the prohibition days she would have been called a mobster moll.

Politics sure is interesting in LW. It always has been a blood bath with always the developer side with the most money and the most dirty tricks. Take the banner erected on the Gulfstream Hotel by our esteemed Greg Rice. Speaking of him, he was allowed to have those two derelict properties on Lucerne for years. Special treatment for one side in this city and then these idiots go after Maier even with one of them saying he was conducting his hair styling business out of his home and ranted about separate entrances, etc. Where do they get these nuts? I guess they are necessary to this corrupt side. Gun moll is a good description.

Pathetic Lil lovesick woman goes "postal" if you dare jest about her Scotty. Pretty shocking to see her anger but kind of funny at the same time. She talks about Respect!!!! I try to stay away from her as she shouts out at meetings if she doedn'the like what she hears. Peggy is a BULLY

Respect is earned!

Respect the oath of office and the people will respect that;
making it up as you go along will produce the results we see!

Why can't such 'smart' people figure this out? It's exactly
why we got ticked at the king and declared our independence,
wrote the rules (constitution) and added the bill of rights
so there is no mistake what was meant. People come 1st and
their rights are like DNA (Un-A-LIEN-Able or can't be
separated from them) and governments are formed to PROTECT
THOSE RIGHTS.

Is it true she screamed in your face? How is that showing 'respect'?
Where was the Mayor and all her BS about following the rules (she is
obviously clueless of shown by her actions)?

Explain the satire. I'm stupid.

@9:36...you have to understand the background and what lead up to the graphic. The political opposition was going to try and "hang" him in a public forum for some unproven allegations regarding code violations at a property he owns that were filed by Jessica Teutsch, a person who doesn't even live in the city nor has been on or in his property. The graphic shows him being hauled off to be "hung" without a trial, without evidence without due process.
Get it now?

Ms. Fisher you obviously have NO idea of the meaning of the word RESPECT that you were throwing around Tuesday night.

Respect-1. to consider worthy of high regard 2. to pay attention to.

Well Ms. Fisher you certainly must respect Lynn Anderson's face. You yelled right into it! Maybe Mayor Triolo's nicotine blood levels were running low by this time in the meeting and she just couldn't react fast enough. Maybe she was just as shocked as the rest of the room was and it took her a second to react. In any case, the Mayor should have had you removed from the building.

Ms. Fisher ,Commissioner Maxwell has called me a racist TWICE in a public meeting. I am not a racist. I am STILL waiting for a public apology from Commissioner Maxwell for his blatant use of hate speech against me.I guess you have also joined him on that band wagon. The one where you throw around the word "racist" inappropriately when you have no true or logical argument to make.

Ms. Fisher in the future do yourself and the poor law enforcement guys assigned to the meetings a favor, just stay in the back of the room trying to think of a reason to smile. That should keep you busy for several years to come.

why do these people come to public meetings to cry about other people's opinions? Sounds like the only person who was disrespectful is the fisher woman. This is America. We have freedoms here. Maybe she should move to Saudi Arabia and cover her face if she doesn't like our constitutional rights here.
Can we please get the majority and Andy the Hall Monitor out of those chairs? Please? They act like sixth grade bullies. It's embarrassing.
