California, and the people in it, are all screwed up--all liberals, all Democrats and many progressive socialists with a state near bankruptcy. Colbert's audience was full of them. Thank God they are not typical of people in our country who believe in democratic principles and our Constitution.
I'm not sure why any Conservative would go on this show but Ted Cruz held his own.

Maybe you watched a different video. Cruz held his own? Colbert totally embarrassed him and had to ask his audience to stop booing Cruz. Cruz was obviously uncomfortable and embarrassed. But you try to spin everything else why not this too?
Anonymous, you are the one SPINNING IT. He wasn't embarrassed. You are doing what Dems do best. At least Trump has the good sense not to be bothered with it.
