Reverse Racism in Lake Worth

Comment Up

God, is no one happy here?  You can't win no matter what you do.  Now someone is pissed off because of a mural on the rear side of La Joya Villages depicting a white boy and painted by an artist trying to give a little beauty back to the area. Get a freaking life, complainer!

but if you look down and to the left there's some graffiti on the wall, that makes it a wash.....

The artist depicted a Cuban-American boy... The blue eyes are what throws the complainer off...maybe they should be painted brown...

The artist needs a break.

It is not enough that the artist is from Equador and has different children in the mural. This Tuesday character is a real dolt. Art is supposed to bring out an emotion.

That article was meant to be a joke, right? Seems kind of racist to say people of diverse backgrounds cannot have blue eyes. The awesome b!+ch slap is the painter is Spanish and said he painted a Spanish boy. Lol, nice try Gilliam, at least you had your 1 minute of fame getting published in the post

Just saw her on the news, she looks like a crackhead and I can't believe the news gave it airtime. She makes LW look like a slum. What racist nonsense. Ch as nnel 12 was dumb to report it.

Unbelievable that one ignorant persons comment should garner any attention at all from local media outlets, proof that we don't have much substance here.

What it shows to me is that there are some, if not many, who still harbor a lot of resentment towards white people.

Anon @10:01
My take on it is that he's looking up....(you must have a thing about noses?)

I am so dumbfounded at this point - what/ who is the"right thing to be"?
We in LW are a liberal group, but a mural goes up depicting a white child and there's a group, getting on a bandwagon against it?
So weird to me that this community, which accepts and embraces all, has hate groups .
Who's behind the anti- white mural?

A liberal.
