It's a very frustrating issue. Of course I respect our PBSO law enforcement officers, but I do not think that our neighborhoods are being patrolled like they should be. Just this week a neighbor had a truck stolen out of their front yard. ANOTHER VEHICLE was parked behind it! The truck was locked, but a spare set of keys was in the truck. The theft was sometime after 11:00 P.M.
EVERYONE in my neighborhood that I know has been robbed. Multiple times. Most of us keep our properties locked and have gotten alarm systems.
The deputies say "we are patrolling your neighborhoods". How many of you are actually driving around my neighborhood ? When and how often? "We can't be everywhere" is starting to wear a little thin.
The idea that I have to pay a 25 dollar fee yearly to PBSO for my alarm system(which I had to put in because the police are nowhere to be seen in my neighborhood) is maddening.
Lake Worth pays over one million dollars PER MONTH for PBSO. PLUS we also pay COUNTY taxes. So we all pay TWICE the taxes for what is almost ZERO service.
Something needs to change. NOW.

Ask Ryan Hartman what he plans to do about it.

It would be a good idea to ask all of the candidates including the incumbents this question. Crime has grown under the Trio's watch.
