Relevancy - Citizen suggests inflammatory charge

Comment Up

It's all politics but the suggestion made by Mr. Ellis is ridiculous as politics often is.

All in the same breath he takes a swipe at the Lake Worth Tribune that does honest reporting and all of those running against the Trio that (real estate license or not), are involved in something nefarious. Heck, the Trio even had a secret meeting to give away our casino complex (a possible 99 year lease with renewals) to a developer involved big time in....you guessed it-- real estate.

Found on Facebook:

Ben Ellis If the Lake Worth Tribune really wanted to write a relevant article, maybe they could spend some time investigating why three licensed real estate agents are suddenly running for office, out of the blue, with no prior public engagement, and in some cases very short time as residents.

So, what are the facts?

DISTRICT 1
Scott Maxwell: Current Real Estate License thru 3/31/17
Ryan Hartman: No

MAYOR
Pam Triolo: No
Gary Antieau: Current Real Estate License thru 3/31/16
Diane Jacques: No

DISTRICT 3
Andy Amoroso: No
Frank McAlonan: Current Real Estate License thru 9/30/16

So, one incumbent has a real estate license and two out of the four candidate opposition have current licenses.  Neither one of the two opponents use their license to buy or sell real estate or work in real estate sales.  Gary Antieau might dabble in it but that's rare. So, three people running have licenses and four do not.

Of course, the implication is real estate salesmen have something to gain by running for office in Lake Worth against these incumbents and therefore we all need to be leery of these unscrupulous people.  Perhaps, they too, work for Hudson Holdings?

Who is this guy? Never heard of him. He is one of the tools from the dark side.

There are many people in Lake Worth with real estate licenses. We know who the hoes are and who aren't.Wes Blackman who works for Hudson Holdings ran out and got one awhile back. That side probably has Mark Perilla and Windy working on theirs.

I guess it's politics, Lynn, but these people went after Margaret with a vengeance that was unprecedented. We miss her paper and the truth. They are all pigs for what they did like picking up her newspapers and throwing them in the trash. Even someone got caughtat city hall doing it. What a miserable group.

I don't know of one opponent who is FOR what the trio commission did by giving the owners of The Gulfstream 65 feet in a zoning change there when the charter amendment was 45 feet won by the people with 57% of the vote. Not one. The opponents, not only believe in the sanctity of the vote (and what normal person living in America would not believe that?)and democracy but they believe in keeping our downtown low-rise, no more than 45 feet in that area.

If anything, the opponents are for smart growth and listening to the people, not the developers or whoever is whispering in their ears.

Anyone, and I mean anyone involved and in the know on a local level understand who the people are who have something to gain with an active real estate license. Just follow the money. Follow the illegal banner on the Gulfstream Hotel. Follow all these same characters who have been behind developers for decades at the expense of the voter and taxpayers. They are always looking for what's in it for them. It's the same and it never ends. These people will eventually die off but there are others taking their place and believing all the lying crap of what will make our little town successful. Check their pockets. Real estate is a noble profession but there are some who want to ruin our city for that commission they will get. There is a real estate woman who always talks up development when she speaks before the commission. She doesn't even live here. Maybe it's what they are getting under the table to do all these evil deeds like the POC. No trust in them at all. Vote them out.

A big lie that is repeated so often as if that will make it come true is that of some "secret meeting".

It was the same meeting that the inspector general was invited to make sure everything was done properly so that the crazies couldn't come back and say this?

The same one that only one commissioner was allowed to attend due to sunshine law concerns? Te commissioner that was chosen at a commission meeting?

Lynn Anderson said...

That very meeting,anonymous...out of the sunshine. I love how the city covered it all up, trying to make it respectful by having the IG attend. They stoop to all sorts of lows. :)

Never heard of this guy but he sure seems like another unscrupulous scuz bag trying to throw mud where there is none. Maybe smelling his own dirt... It is blatantly obvious by their actions who is on the dark side here (and maybe also working for HH?) Margaret Menge had the audacity to print the truth in a well written and researched newspaper. Result? PUT HER OUT OF BUSINESS was the command issued from the trio, the bowtie, and of course our unelected town boss the infamous Steve Micheal a la Hudson from Hell. And Wes the Mess Blackman who was working for them openly encouraged theft of her publication and trashing of same. Why? So they could keep up their lies about these "false rumors" which everyone now knows were absolutely true. Why do they still believe if they repeat a lie long and often enough, it will then be believable?? That's why they put her out of business, threatening anyone who bought any advertisements in her paper that they would sic Code Enforcement on them in retribution. Yea, that's honorable: put her out of business by any means possible: threat and theft by City Hall and their paid henchman undercover Wes the Mess. And then Szerdi thinks he is fooling anyone with that rambling diatribe about false rumors lost him the election. We're not that stupid. You can hide the truth, you can create secret government out of the sunshine, you can act like criminals and put people out of business. You can do this undercover all the while working for HH, you can work on boards making rulings on them while collecting from them. BUT YOU JUST CAN'T ANYMORE LOOK LIKE CREDIBLE CITIZENS, OR POLITICIANS. You can't put that genie back in the box and try it again on the citizens of Lake Worth. You have proven who you are, what you do, and why.

Use a paragraph 12:49, you're rambling would make a little more sense, just a little.

Sometimes it's hard to use paragraphs on blogger. You think you have and then it shows up differently. Anyway, all the points that this poster made are accurate.

Margaret's "news" paper was nothing more than an illegal banner paid for by ???? because it never had any advertising, came online just before the election and disappeared right after, just as most people in the know, knew it would.

We also expected it to re-emerge just before this election and then disappear again right after. She is already posting in social media in the same name as the "news" paper.

Maybe her beneficiary will step up to the plate again???

In all other political advertisements, you must disclose who is responsible for the ad. The disclaimer WAS in the big banner, just too small to see from where it hung and because of that, a fine was paid.

The idea still stands. "Save the Gulfstream" is just as much an issue now as it was then. If you don't want to see something happen there, keep trying to thwart everything the new owner does to get his project underway.

As soon as the Planning and Zoning and Historical Resources Boards approve the site plan, initiate a lawsuit. That'll stop any progress or at least slow it down. Remember, delay, delay, delay and eventually, he will go away.

You don't know what you're talking about. And it's really too bad that you spread all these lies about someone who tried very hard to make a go of a business--a young woman with a child to raise. She had ZERO help with her finances in this paper other than a small amount of money her father gave or loaned to her.
Post under your own name you coward.

Andy Amoroso was chair of a secret committee whose purpose was to hand over our beach/casino property to Hudson Holdings. Here's a quote from Mr. Andy(the same guy who sells "coco cocks" and "Gummy Horny men " at his shop-"Who do you want for Commissioner,a gay hairdresser or a green architect"? And this guy says he represents the gay community???
Andy ,Pam ,and Scott got caught with their grubby hands in the cookie jar when the truth about what the secret meetings of the ITN were really about.
Pam ,Andy and Scott are running scared. They couldn't believe that Hudson Holding's employee (and their fellow conspirator) John Dirty Szerdi got his ass handed to him in the last election. The people of Lake Worth were furious and rightly so when the curtain got pulled on the ITN committee's true intent and purpose. Bornstein took the fall, but this was all coordinated behind the scenes by Scott Maxwell, Andy Amoroso and Pam Triolo. All you hear out of their mouths now is "keep our beach public" !!!
William Waters: (during the secret ITN proceedings) "If this gets out(talking about Hudson Holdings plans for the casino), Szerdi can kiss his seat goodbye.
Andy Amoroso: Right. Who do you want for Commissioner? A gay hair dresser or a green architect"?
And at tonights debate, Amoroso had the nerve to keep saying he was for transparency in government? I hope that anywhere that this vile little liar Amoroso goes is grounded. Otherwise lightning is going to strike him down.

Do not understand all the negative comments about Realtors and Real Estate Licensed individuals. Everyone is quick to judge. Everyone has a right to question ulterior motives in this free land, but many of our citizens are professional realtors or licensed for personal investments and are good citizens making this town a better place and more beautiful place. It is an insult when such generalizations are made. At meetings like the one today questions were posed with respect to having a license at the candidates, as if they were criminals. I was sitting in the audience, and I have a license and felt insulted. Be careful in generalizing about people around you, whether migrants, homeless, people of color, Hispanics, disabled veterans, other religions even, as one day it may be the group that one belongs to that gets bullied. I am anticommunist, pro-small business, anticrime, even if it steps on some freedoms, but one has to be practical balanced and compassionate, so please do not take things to the extreme.

Lynn Anderson said...

I guess whoever turned in that question does NOT read this blog or just wanted to hear it from the horse's mouth to be insulting.
I have a real estate broker's license and I'm NOT dangerous. :( :) :)
