Lake Worth Street Painting Festival

I know they say the Street Painting Festival is good for the city economy and businesses, but I just don't like it anymore. It is too crowded, too many drunks, dogs, selfish people, and the artwork just is not as good as it used to be. All these comics, cartoons, pop art, junk art, it is just not my cup of tea anymore, it gets worse every year. I wish they would have the artist doing the artwork to do nice classical well known art works like they used to do 15 years ago. The past few years, the art at the festival has diminished in quality substantially. Maybe it is all these young kids who just want to paint super heros and junk art, it is just not my cup of tea, not sure I will go again unless they up the quality a bit.

Thanks for your comment. This is the first year that I did not fight the crowds and the parking problem. did not miss it one bit.
