The Biggest Bully

Comment Up
A possible future Epitaph?
The World's Angriest Commissioner
Red eyed, red faced and bushy tailed

Last night, many of us witnessing his outburst and screaming thought the vice mayor might have a heart attack. His face was as red as his shirt. The behavior on this dais is about the worst I have ever seen from any elected officials. Maxwell is the biggest bully on the pulpit--abusive and outrageous.

The mayor was absent...she had something else to do. It was just as well, as the meeting was short but not too sweet.

Herman Robinson was there to politic telling us all that he was running for Ryan Maier's seat for "balance." What in the hell does that mean?  Stability?  We haven't had any of that since this Trio was first elected. Everyone saying and voting the same way from the same Cracker Jack box? Does he want to be used as a convenient tool for the bullies? Maryann Polizzi, also running for District 4, or so I have been told, was actually polite last night.

Maxwell's girlfriend, Peggy Fisher, who was appointed by him for the Electric Utility Board and wearing an Atlanta Braves T-Shirt, went off on this blogger with graphics of bullets, etc. She gets her rocks off being right in your face. When I originally used a similar graphic as satire, PBSO was called. They didn't see the humor and parody at all. Bullies never do. I was out in the hallway so I did not get to really hear all of her abuse. These friends of this Trio are allowed to be rude and obnoxious, not just some of the time. In fact, it must be encouraged by the Trio as they are allowed to get away with it all of the time.

Is it possible that this Trio could adhere to their own Rules of Decorum?

Intensive therapy, alcohol counseling and a 12 step program are a Rx for his attitude and demeanor and will add decorum to our Commission.
Herman Robinson could join him.

I don't understand how they acquired so much money for this last election. They are the nastiest people alive and awful for LW. Maxwell is the worst of the lot. The King of nasty.

Money attracts money. When one of the candidates is making promises to developers and baseball teams and the other is calling for responsible growth, it's pretty obvious where the money's going to go.

Money mostly came from developers, they see a commission ready to be exploited.

I don't really understand the bullying behavior, they are in power, they have a three vote majority why do they act so fearful?

Exactly what responsible growth was the opponent calling for?

They want monopoly rule without any barriers, and no opposing viewpoints. I'll bet they have a HUGE agenda to push through now for the next 2 years. When you take in triple your salary in campaign contributions, that's a lot of favors owed now to developers and big money. Do we know if the Braves made any contributions?
Herman Robinson for "balance"?? Surely you jest. He's just another rubber stamp for the development dynasty. The one meeting I attended where he was in charge (re Historical Com) he actually asked, no lie, if he was even permitted to vote against a zoning change for Hudson Holdings. No critical thinking here, he's another rubber stamp for the trio and their agenda. And sadly it seems the longer they are in power the more money they accumulate and the more impossible it is to have anything but a dynasty.

Well Diane Jacques could run for Maier's seat if he doesn't want to continue in public office. Or Ryan Hartman could move to District 4 and run again. There are all sorts of possibilities here.
