Quote of the Day - Keeping Men Out of Women's Restrooms

"The Dallas Morning News published my latest op-ed about the outrageous, politically correct policies that have emerged in Texas and nationally to allow boys into girls' restrooms and locker rooms.

The policy, imposed by Fort Worth ISD's Superintendent and expanded by a national edict from President Obama, defies common sense and common decency. These policies are disruptive to schools and bad for children, and we are taking a stand in Texas to stop them."

 ~Dan Patrick
 Lieutenant Governor of Texas

Why is North Carolina? Is this just another smoke an mirrors election year "issue" that is about as about as necessary as colored and white bathrooms were in the 60s? Rile up the base!! Yeah!! This is not about openly raping little girls in bathrooms for heaven's sake. Or big burly men running in to depanty little girls. And only actually affects 0.5--1.5% of the population who for whatever reason (I don't understand why either) do not identify with the sex they were born with. I don't understand Bruce Jenner and don't even remember his new name. But I don't think I have the right to dictate to him either how to dress or what bathroom he may and may not enter with or without his birth certificate.

The objection is not against "real" transgenders, those who have gone through the operation, etc. The objection is the real possibility of creeps posing as women when they are not. It has happened and this will open it up to more. My opinion. People need to be assured that they are safe when using bathrooms, etc.
P.S. It's Caitlyn Jenner
