Staff
met with the Braves personnel and discuss the potential of locating to Palm
Beach County but they did not submit a financial proposal. To-date the
county has not received an official proposal from the Braves.

So it sounds like it's still up for grabs after the Brave's one year extension in Orlando?
This is a good reason to look very closely at the sales tax referendum that will be on the November ballot. If you trust the commission and you trust the oversight committee to do the right thing with this money, that's one thing. But if you have any doubt, be careful how you vote.
Another reason to vote no on the sales tax. Those promised road funds will be diverted.

Me either, @2:34. I love paying taxes. Now the city wants to have another bond. Can't wait for that either.
