Lake Worth – Lake Worth Beach Closure Notice

Due to Hurricane Irma Lake Worth Beach and the Fishing Pier will be closed to the public as of noon on Thursday, September 7th, 2017 until further notice. Benny’s on the Beach and the Casino Building tenants will remain open for business today and tomorrow. The Parking Meters at Lake Worth Beach have been suspended until further notice. The entire beach complex, including the casino building will be closed after the close of business tomorrow.

Lake Worth – Municipal Offices Closed

The City of Lake Worth officially closed their municipal offices to the public at noon today. City staff will continue to work to secure facilities and to prepare for the storm but members of the public will not be able to access the offices. All business will be placed on hold until following the storm. Reopening dates and times will be announced in due course. Non-essential City employees have been dismissed and will return as called upon following the storm.

At this time the City of Lake Worth will continue to monitor and follow the guidance of Palm Beach County and residents are encouraged to do the same.

Lake Worth – Lake Worth Golf Course Closed Beach Club Restaurant Open

The Lake Worth Golf Course is now closed due to Hurricane Irma. The Beach Club Restaurant will remain open to patrons tonight and tomorrow and possibly Saturday morning. Re-opening dates and times will be announced following the storm.

If the beach closed can we still fill sand bags from beach or is it safer to get sand from golf coarse

I would doubt that you will be able to get up to the beach. Golf course closed. They allow you to bag sand there?
