Phony Baloney BS Politics - Lake Worth hates hate!

Lake Worth is issuing a proclamation against "hate." They say: THAT WE STAND IN UNITY WITH THE PALM BEACH COUNTY LEAGUE OF CITIES IN OUR ABHORRENCE (hate) OF RACIAL AND RELIGIOUS PREJUDICE AND BIGOTRY.

In other words, they say that they are against "hate" but they only HATE the hate that they disagree with. To most of these bozos, arbitrary opinions are all considered "hate."

Why not get down to the core problem--Democrats can't stand anyone with a different opinion. They have never condemned Antifa, a hate terrorist group but condemn Neo-Nazis. They have never condemned radical Islamist terrorism. They stand with illegal aliens invading our country and now want to give amnesty to 800,000 of them as a starter to bigger and greater amnesties. They condemn the rights of conservatives to be heard anywhere. They want to give sanctuary to illegal aliens, all who are criminals by simply crossing our border to begin with. They defy and resist at every little thing and that includes the liberal judges. In actuality, they hate.

Until politicians get over the hypocrisy and honor our first Amendment rights as well as our Constitution overall, then this proclamation is as phony as they are.

So you're angry that people are taking a stand against hate in the community?

Wow. Maybe you need to take a break, Lynn.

Wow- yourself. That's not what I said, anonymous. So, I invite you to take the break and stop being such a phony with your liberalism--which IS hate, by the way.

Your article is spot on.

The League of Cities has always been stooges for the Chamber of Commerce, bozos who want the cheap labor that illegal immigrants provide.

How wonderful that they have learned to use the word "abhor" to mask their hate.

They are showing us their brilliance by learning to use the word "abhor" to mask their own hate.

Remember the city commission meeting where one commissioners had to announce that he was black? One had to announce that he was gay. And yet another had to announce that he was Jewish. Not one of these dumb asses described themselves as AMERICANS.
You guys voted these useless clowns into office. How's it working out for you?

What a bunch of phony baloney jerks we have on this Commission! They had no problem hating and spitting on the people's vote on height limits for our downtown corridor! They had no problem hating the people who didn't want to hand them a blank check for 63 million in the original bond issue! they had NO PROBLEM hating fellow Commissioners Chris Mcvoy and Ryan Hartman! The way those two were yelled at and belittled was criminal. And not only the Commissioners, but their Cronies (like sour-puss piglet) in the audience were also allowed to step over the line! No "point of order, sit down" when people were spewing hate that madame mayor Pam Triolo agreed with!
The biggest haters in town are people like Amoroso-who tried to get a local church shut down. Or Maxwell, who carried a baseball bat around and tired to destroy a local county park!
And don't get me started on how the city manager treats the public and city workers.
If these HYPOCRITICAL HATERS try to pass this ANTI HATE resolution,Lightning will probably hit the building!

Sure it is, Lynn. It's just that you're so blinded by your own hate for 50% of Americans that you can't see it.

I happen to be against those that hate and if that is "liberalism" today, then sign me up. All I'm hearing from the right is the opposite and, like this post, hate against those who are trying to do something to stop them from hating.

Right out of Rules for Radicals--way to go. Why don't you go back and march in D.C.? Get all your hate frustrations out that way....and don't forget to wear that silly pink hat.

Hate comes from the elected officials and the City Manager when people don't agree with them. This proclamation is a waste of time and energy and is a Big Joke.

While I agree with most of what is discussed here, especially on the local level, I gotta say that you could do with less yelling at people and calling them names. When I've talked to you at the town functions, you seem like a totally different person than what you are here. All that anger can't be good for you. Anyway, just thought I would add my 2 cents. Please don't hate me. 😄

NO anger, anonymous...truth hurts.

Lynn isn't the hateful hypocrite flaunting a useless anti hate proclamation! maybe they need to feel better about themselves. Words, not actions. We know what these Commission Clowns have done. And empty words will not erase their nasty actions..
