According to an estimate by Moody’s Analytics, the government shutdown in 2013 lasted 16 days and cost an estimated $20 billion.
We all know that Democrats love to spend money but this is ridiculous. How long will the Democrats screw around with this Budget because of illegal aliens and politics? DACA is a whole separate issue.
The alternative is approving a three-week spending bill to fund the government until February 8. Democrats are against that. Mitch McConnell stated that the Senate would vote on this stopgap at 1:00am Monday unless Democrats agreed to move up the vote.
